Our Botched Ferran Adria date

Having bungled up the dates for Ferran Adria's speaking engagement, Hubby and I got a shock when we entered the Grand Ballroom in Capella Hotel only to find ourselves the only "participants".

After forking out a SGD6 entrance fee into Sentosa and burning SGD100 bucks on our (now wasted) tickets, we not content to just drive out just like that. So we decided to explore the island a little and check out the much talked about casino and Universal Studios.

After strolling past Universal Studios and stealing a glimpse of Woody Woodpecker from afar...

I chanced upon a most glorious sight- Hershey's Chocolate World. A chocoholics heaven, this shop is stocked with a mind boggling array of confections and souvenirs proudly stamped with the Hersheys and Reese logo.

Let's start off with the Reese display first. Swathed in an eye catching orange, these were the first to catch my attention

Reese is for folks who dig peanut butter.

However, thanks to clever packaging, non peanut butter lovers like me couldn't resist getting my hands on these

Moving on to the Hershey section

World's largest chocolate bar...now I regret not buying one of these...

Stacks of dark chocolate, milk chocolate and nut studded chocolate slabs

Check out the huge bottles of chocolate sauce. They even have it in Strawberry flavor

Not forgetting the cutesy souvenir tins

Anyone for candy scented candles?

Hershey's kisses -who could live without these?

And of course, the Hershey chocolate plushies...

Before heading home, here's one picture I just HAD to take as a momento...
