The Smell of Singapore

After taking a short hiatus and popping over to Bali for a week of recharging, I am back in action feeling visibly invigorated and refreshed.

Its been a wet week in Bali and I hear the same can be said of Singapore.

Guess what I got when I opened my windows this morning to take a whiff of the rain?



The smell of Singapore!!

National Day is approaching and its hard to ignore these white and red "signs" splattered across the whole island. Soon, TVs will be playing catchy National Day jingles and restaurants will start running National Day promotions.

Me? I'm just looking forward to the one day public holiday on 9 Aug which happens to fall on a Monday (long weekend!)
